My name is Jirui (Ryan) Han, a current undergrad student at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, majoring in Interactive Media Arts (IMA), persuing a double major with Computer Science.
I specialize in UI/UX design and graphical/photo content creation. I have strong passion in the fields of AI, aviation, and event facilitation.
I approach UI/UX design as both art and architecture: crafting interfaces that are intuitive, poetic, and deeply rooted human behavior. Having both expertise of Interactive Media Arts and Computer Science, I merge technical precision with creative exploration, guided by passions in AI. For me, design is not decoration but narrative: each interaction is a story that can spark curiosity, build connection, and thus transform how people experience technology. My Portfolio

I draw inspiration from photography, aviation, and expository writing—each teaching me to see systems, details, and stories from new perspectives. These passions sharpen both my creative and analytical lens, shaping how I design experiences that are clear, expressive, and human-centered.

A Coding and UX Project for a visionOS program.
Transcripts are often dense and hard to navigate. Debrieviate transforms them into interactive, spatial experiences on VisionOS, letting users tap, explore, and engage with text more intuitively.
How might we reimagine text transcripts as interactive, spatial experiences, so that users can explore, learn, and engage with language in ways that feel natural, intuitive, and memorable?

A UX Case Study for a progressive commuting app.
For many, public transit comes with its share of stress, from keeping track of unfamiliar stops to finding the fastest way through the daily rush. How might we create a solution that makes NYC public transit less stressful, guiding commuters with timely notifications and route options to ensure they reach their destination smoothly and efficiently?

A Photo Collection in Remembrance of Those Who Were Lost.
On the anniversary night, we drove out to Port Jersey to photograph the twin light beams as they rose into the sky — a powerful tribute to those who were lost. From across the water, the beams cut through the night with quiet strength, a reminder of memory, resilience, and the lives forever remembered.
